Motivated by the love of Christ and strengthened by a deep prayer life… we live together in community… supporting each other in … The Joy of Meeting with the First Lady of the Republic of Poland. After the sale of Hotel Dieu Hospital in 1992, the Daughters transitioned their efforts, establishing a community health ministry known today as Daughters of Charity Services of New Orleans (DCSNO).

Daughters of Charity are passionate, active and joyful women with varied interests and diverse backgrounds. The Daughters of Charity are a community of women who devote our lives to serving the poorest and most abandoned individuals in today's society.

Even when working in different ministries, Sisters come together daily to pray, recreate and share household responsibilities. The Daughters of Charity are an International Community of Apostolic Life within the Catholic Church.
